Capturing special moments and scenes from some of my favorite locations throughout New England.
Nantucket
A small island off the coast of Cape Cod, I first visited Nantucket in June of 2018. In the years since, I’ve returned often to enjoy the natural beauty and unique characteristics of this seaport town. The expansive coastline, speckled with boats and lighthouses, cedar-shingled homes, and ubiquitous blooming hydrangeas make it a photographer's paradise.
Rockport
I visited Rockport, Massachusetts for the first time in April 2022, staying at the Sally Webster Inn. As part of the Sally Webster Collection of boutique inns, this particular location was beautifully renovated using modern, stylish accents. Each night we filled out our breakfast order form, selecting which locally made pastries, fresh juices, and hot coffee we’d have delivered to our door each morning. Highly recommend a stay if you’re planning a visit to the area.
Truro
Right before Provincetown, at (almost) the very tip of Cape Cod, you’ll find Truro, Massachusetts. One of four towns that make up the ‘Outer Cape’, Truro touches both the Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod Bay. I spent a week on the latter side in September 2023, just before Hurricane Lee was scheduled to pass. The unseasonably warm air and impending storm created a week of overcast sunrises, stunning sunsets, blue sky beach days and everything in between.
